LTCS participates in the second Malawi Investment Forum 2016

Languages Training and Consultancy Solution (LTCS) had a privilege of participating in the Second Malawi Investment Forum that took place on the 10th and 11th October, 2016. This event opened opportunities for LTCS and increased the awareness of its services in the country. The Malawi Government through Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and the Malawi Investment Trade Centre (MITC) opened the conference under theme "Smart Partnership for the Private sector led Industrialization".

A lot of companies including LTCS participated in the exhibition that run alongside the MIF Conference. As a way of selling LTCS services to the audience, the Exhibition booth was decorated and a number of Marketing promotional materials like T-shirts and fliers were distributed.

According to LTCS Corporate Marketing Executive, Mercy Mbundungu, Malawi Investment Forum is a product of Malawi Investment and Trade Centre (MITC) an arm created by the Government as a one stop trade Centre mandated to attract both local and foreign investments into Malawi.

“There was a wide media coverage. We managed to secure an interview with MBC TV which was aired on the public broadcasting network,” she stated.

Mbundungu added that the exhibition helped LTCS secure some clients and prospects that did not know about LTCS. While the event was a success, Mbundungu also noted the absence of a red carpet on the stand which was one of the setbacks that led the Vice President to not visit the stand.

This year’s MIF was focusing on the following sectors; Agriculture and Agro-processing, Tourism and services including ICT health, Education and Creative arts just to mention a few.
